Intro

2022 is off and running. January, February were gone before we new it and March is well on its way! For Bluffton Aesthetics, 2022 is the year of new beginnings. We have many exciting announcements to share with you. Our receptionist, Megan, has begun school to earn her esthetician license. She began her classes in January at Ogeechee Tech and will complete her coursework in December. We are in the process of training Megan as a laser hair removal tech and she has already mastered full leg treatments! To fill in while Megan is in school, we welcome Linda Anders as a part time receptionist Monday – Wednesdays. Linda joins us with extensive experience in customer service and we look forward to having her be a part of our family. Another exciting moment for Megan, in February she got engaged to her long time love, Dillon. No dates have been announced yet. We also would like to share that our Nurse Practitioner, Savannah Rogers is pregnant with her first baby. Her due date is in June and we do know that it is a GIRL. No name selections have been firmed up yet. Savannah recently attended the AmSpa 2022 Medical Spa Show in Las Vegas. She is most excited about the new techniques that she learned for under the eye filler and is looking forward to sharing her advanced training with her patients. We had a great time at our Love Yourself Event and would like to thank all of you that attended. Congratulations to our winners for the raffles that were offered at the event. Sheree and I are in the process of planning our next event to be held in April. We are excited to be back in realm of offering in person events  it feels so good to interact with our people!

Botox: Before & After

BY SAVANNAH RODGERS
Botox is a medication that weakens the muscle and improves fine lines and wrinkles. It takes about 4-7 days to kick in and two weeks for the final results. At two weeks, it is the most intense and then slowly starts to wear off.
I often treat patients before big events such as a wedding. If you have pictures coming up or a big event is best to get botox about 6 weeks prior to your event. That way your skin and face look natural, and you have time for touch ups.
